Troy Kunz, Sachi Kidd, Alex Kidd, Bill Kidd, James Pendergrass, and Paolo Scotti win top prizes at March Monthly Medal.

75 players competed over the Lakes course today, Friday 16th March, for the March monthly medal, in much improved weather condition than we have seen of late. The format, individual stableford, was enjoyed by all. The Katameya Monthly Medals are played in a variety of categories, with two categories for men, one for ladies and a separate category for juniors. There is also a best Guest category.

The best score of the day came from Paolo Scotti, who managed 38 stableford points, and taking the Division A title. Sachi Kidd produced her personal best competitive round over the Lakes course and won the ladies category with 35 points. It was a great day for the Kidd family with both Bill and Alex taking the junior net and gross categories respectively. James Pendergrass took the Division B Men’s division with 34 points.

The Katameya Dunes monthly medals count towards the 2012 Order Of merit, which will decide team selection in events like The Chairman’s Cup and other club events. Full updated Order of Merit to be published Sunday 19th March.
