Ross, Coutts, Esslemont, Mitchell and Abou El Khier win honors at May Monthly medal
The Dunes Course hosted the monthly medal for the first time for today’s Monthly Medal. On a near perfect golf course the scores were excellent in all categories. The format is the ever popular stableford format of full handicap allowance and played in multiple categories including a best guest category.
Andy Mitchell, managed 39 stableford points, and took the Division title for handicaps 19-28 . Stacy Ross won the ladies category with 37 beating two other ladies on countback. Andrew McClean took the Junior gross category and Dominic Coutts, last month’s winner, managed 36 points to win the best junior net division again . Hamish Esslemont took the Division A Men’s division with 39 points. The best gross title went to Teymour Abou El Khier who managed an impressive 31 gross points beating Ronny Farag on countback.
69 golfers competed in the May Monthly medal, which was also a qualifier for the 2012 Mercedes Golf Trophy, to take place at Katameya Dunes on Saturday June 23rd 2012. Qualifiers to be announced shortly
